Timberon Golf & Country Club is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Timberon, New Mexico.

This somewhat wide-open course only features a few sand bunkers in play and only a scattering of trees that can affect your shots. However, the course does offer panoramic views of the Lincoln National Park and the wildlife that wanders onto the fairways. The large greens are undulating, slow, and some are elevated. Water hazards come into play on three holes. There are additional tees that can be used when playing a double loop eighteen hole round.
Par for the course is 36. From the back tees, the course plays to 3,433 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 2,294 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 606 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 9, a par-3 that plays to 179 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 8, a 413-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Timberon Golf Course is # 9, the 179 yard par-3.

Multiple tiers of failed ownership...BEWARE long lived internet Marketing Efforts. E.g. "No Metal Spikes" :) If any in your unfortunate party thought to bring Surveying Equipment to assay where the course used to be - the use of Metal Spikes to mark the depths to which has sunk for future archealogists is strictly forbidden!
